God “Filled him...”

God "Filled him with divine spirit, with ability, intelligence, and knowledge in every kind of craft" (Exodus 31:3). Technology is not new it is defined: "The application of science, especially to industrial or commercial objectives." The post-modern mindset in rejecting teachings of the Bible as "old fashion" don't apply to modern times" "out of touch" etc are being disillusion by the serpent. Revelations 12:9 says "That ancient serpent who is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world." To pursue intellectualism without God is to pursue knowledge without wisdom and the world is left with Greed, Injustice, Drunkenness. God's purpose and plan for each time in history is for Mankind to humanize His Image and Likeness. Those who are weak in the spirit, but strong in the flesh will never know the Truth, the absolute Truth: Jesus is Lord of all! Time and Space!

Leviticus 26:10...

Leviticus 26:10 "You shall eat old grain long stored, and you shall have to clear out the old to make way for the new." Our scripture reading points to the spirit and order of things to come. As we remember last year's experiences (positive or negative), this coming year will bring favor and multiplications of fruits to be harvested. Make your New Year's resolution to be: Prayer! The moment you wake up, and before getting out of bed, say a simple, "Good Morning Father! Good Morning Lord Jesus! Good Morning Holy Spirit!" By making that the first fruit of your day, you are acknowledging your course for the day. The perpetuity of your state lies in your diligence in prayer. "So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest-time, if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9). Problems will not fade away, thank God we are not alone to face them, Lord Jesus is with us always.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

December 25th...

December 25th was designated by the early church father's to commemorate Jesus birthday. Over 1700 yrs. have passed and the Holy Spirit has not changed the date. Don't allow disclaimers to make it a church doctrine, and deny the celebration of Immanuel; Jesus Christ. Although the "political correctness mentality" are striving to remove Christmas, know this, people all over the world are celebrating this date, Dec. 25th as Christ birthday. While the U.S.ofA is regressing in their faith the rest of the world is moving forward with their faith, and the Holy Spirit is making it happen. "Hallelujah!" Jesus came to share His love with all people, we too must share our love with all people. It is the VERY reason for the season.

Merry Christmas! Love ya!

Whatever you think of...

Whatever you think of our President Donald Trump know this, on Wed. Dec.6, 2017 he, proclaiming Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel and moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem is fulfilling Scripture. Zechariah 1:12-17 "Then the angel of the Lord said, 'O Lord of hosts, how long will you withhold mercy from Jerusalem... with which you have been angry these seventy yrs?' (from 1948). "Thus says the Lord of hosts; I am very jealous for Jerusalem... and I am extremely angry with the nations that are at ease; for while I was only a little angry, they made the disaster worse. Therefore, thus says the Lord, I have returned to Jerusalem with compassion, My house shall be built in it... The Lord will again choose Jerusalem." The word is the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrew 13:8). Please pray for our President his family and our (should be) God fearing nation.

Job 16:2...

Job 16:2 "I have heard many such things; miserable comforters are you all." It is easy to point a finger and give lectures as regards to others plight. Are you like Job's friends (fair-weather), saying the right things at the wrong time? Right in your thoughts and expressing it to enhance your own righteousness. "Do you say, my righteousness is more than God's?" (Job 35:2). Remember this, "If righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing" (Galatians 2:21). But, thanks be to God, "That we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God" (2 Corinthians 1:4). Be an encourager to those around you this week. It may become a habit.

Esther 6:6...

Ester 6:6 "So Haman came in, and the King asked him, 'what shall be done for the man whom the King delights to honor?' Now Haman thought in his heart, whom would the King delight to honor more than me?" Haman sow a thought, that it was him the King was thinking about. So he acted upon that thought and devised a plan of great pompous celebration. But his habit of hatred towards God's people revealed a character flaw, and the end result was destruction for him and his ten sons. Psalms 94:11 "The Lord knows our thoughts, that they are but an empty breath." Paul's words to the church, "we destroy arguments and every proud obstacle raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to obey Christ" (2Corinthians 10:4,5). Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemaker, for they will be called children of God" (Matthew 5:9).

Before the human species...

"Before the human species was divided into male and female, it was subordinate to one Spirit, one Divine will." Song of Solomon is a depiction of desire for reunification of two spirits into one. But, in order for that to come to fruition, both entities must become one spirit, one will and be subordinate to a higher will: Jesus Christ. Song of Solomon 8:14, "Make haste, my beloved, and be like a gazelle or a young stag upon the mountains of spices!" Malachi 2:15 says, "Did He not make them one, having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring." "In 2 Corinthians 11:2 Paul metaphorically speaking of the marriage vows to Christ and the church. "I feel a divine jealousy for you, for I promised you in marriage to one husband, to present you as a chaste virgin to Christ." I've asked you before and I'm asking again, is Jesus the Lord of your life? Live it!

Augustine, one of the early....

Augustine, one of the early church father/scholars reminisce about his youth years, "To take pleasure in what was illicit for no reason other than that it was not allowed." Modern day Bible scholars summarizes Romans 7:9-11, "Paul has declared that the culprit is not the law (which has good designs) but sin (which misuses the law)." It comes down to our decision/choice that we make. Yes:obey or No: disobey. God says in Exodus 16:4, "I may test them whether they will walk in My Law or not." There are 613 Mosaic laws, some says we are not bound by them, but still we are bound to make a decision/choice. Romans 2:15,16 "They show that what the law requires is written on their hearts, to which their own conscience also bears witness; and their conflicting thoughts will accuse or perhaps excuse them... Jesus Christ will judge the secret thoughts of all." I pray that your decision/choice be SELFLESS and not SELFISH.

God speaks...

God speaks 1 Samuel 2:35, "I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who shall do according to what is in my heart and in my mind." Reminds me of a quote, "If your commitment is only in your mind, then you'll lose it when you encounter a big obstacle. If your commitment is in your heart and mind, you'll create the power to break through the toughest obstacles." Nice sentiment, but this quote from a Professor at Harvard Business School is crediting the human ingenuity. 2 King’s 21:12 warns, "Therefore thus says the Lord... such evil that the ears of everyone who hears of it will tingle." In Hebrews 8: 10 God said, "I will put my laws in their minds, and write them on their hearts." For we are "a royal priesthood... God's own people" (Hebrews 2: 9). Don't just think about it act upon it. Let Jesus be the Lord of your heart and mind.

A quote from Ravi’s book...

Quote from Ravi's book, "The Grand Weaver." "A moral life alone cannot bridge what separates us from God." As our parents instill Christian morals in us, cultural influence (through schooling) may instill different sorts of morals. Genesis 11:4 (very prophetic), "Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves." Mankind will instill their own morals, and believe that they don't need God and His moral laws. Without the Spirit of God in us, all moralizing is in vain. "Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit... and those who are in the flesh cannot please God" (Romans 8: 5,8).

The 10th Commandment...

The 10th Commandment, "You shall not covet your neighbor's house: you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or male or female slave, or ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor"(Exodus 20:17). The word "covet" is internal - a desire, a drive, a lust. It includes every kind of illicit desire and is itself a form of idolatry. It points right back to the 1st Commandment, "you shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything..."(v.4) also (Colossians 3:5). How we react to situations or circumstances will either weaken our resolve, or strength our commitment to walk with Christ. And Jesus said to them 'take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses"(Luke 12:15).

God’s word to Adam and Eve...

God's word to Adam and Eve; be fruitful and multiply. Because of their sin God banished them from the Garden of Eden. But God so loved mankind He ordained a plan to reconcile them back to His fold. He chose the Israelites to bring forth His plan of Redemption. Exodus 1:7 "The Israelites were fruitful and they multiplied." But the world was jealous and envious and were offended. "Thus says the Lord God: because Edom acted revengefully against the house of Judah and has grievously offended in taking vengeance upon them... The Lord God stretch out His hand against them"(Ezekiel 25:12, 13). Jesus is our protector from the wrath of God. "Blessed is he who is not offended because of Me"(Luke 7:23). "I know your works... Because you have kept my word of patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world" (Revelations 3:8,10).

The Bible was entrusted to the church...

The Bible was entrusted to the church by God to bring forth His purpose and plan for Mankind. How we exemplify it will show the faith we have in it. Is this statement true for you? "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength"(Deuteronomy .6: 5). When Jesus included the "mind" into the narrative (Mark 12:30), He wanted us to process our thinking and understanding so that we make the right choices, that is pleasing to Him (John 8:29). Because of the narrative that is being expounded by the New Age (world view) Theology, confusion has entered the church. I love all people, but the Bible says in Genesis 1:27,28 "... male and female he created them. God bless them, and said to them...be fruitful and multiply." It's not about hate! But order! How we live our life's is our choices.

An Indian philosopher...

An Indian philosopher Bara Dada said, "Jesus is ideal and wonderful, but you Christians -- you are not like him." (also attributed to Gandhi). In Paul's days' he wanted the church to imitate him as he imitate Jesus. Today's church we don't want people to look at us, but to look at Jesus. Unfortunately, people will see us as representative of Jesus' (then judged). So, "Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders... let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone" (Colosians 4:5,6). "Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, patience, and Forgiveness" (Colosians 3:12). WE MUST TRY!

Genesis 10:8,9....

Genesis 10:8,9 "Cush became the father of Nimrod; he was the first on earth to become a mighty warrior. Therefore it is said, 'like Nimrod a mighty hunter before the Lord." According to Jewish Rabbis' commentary, Hebrew words used here can also be used as an entrapment of human beings (as in Proverbs 12:12), and that Nimrod began to oppressed his fellowmen in the name of God. The mindset of manipulation is intrinsic to human beings. As Christians, "We were taught to put away our former way of life... corrupt and deluded... and to be renewed in the spirit, and to clothe ourselves with the new self, created according to the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness"(Ephesians 4:22-24). Praise God!

Genesis 6:5...

Genesis .6:5 "The Lord saw that the wickedness of humankind was great in the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil continually." Throughout the Bible God is warning about the sins of the heart; PRIDE. It speaks to all humankind (yes! even churches). PRIDE is not totally evil, but when it becomes excessively selfish, destruction usually follows (Proverbs .16:18). When you're in a position of power and of status, be caution, it can create a sense of false humility. Jesus knows the heart "You hypocrites! This people honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me" (Matthew 15:7,8). The greatest gift we have is the Bible, it teaches us to change and grow in the fellowship of believers.

Genesis 2:2...

Genesis 2:2 "And on the seventh day God finished the work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all the work that he had done." Our scripture reading foretell one of many tenets that has erected walls between churches. My question to churches is: did God stop working? What does that mean, contrasting with John 5:17? "But Jesus answered them 'My Father is still working, and I also am working.'" As Christians, there is a bond created by our common confession that Jesus is Lord. "Jesus said to them, 'My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to complete his work'" (John 4:34). Let's break down walls (mindset of pettiness), that is harmful to the body of Christ.

Psalms 101:8...

Psalms 101:8 "Early I will destroy all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off all the evildoers from the city of the Lord." Many have taken this verse (and others) to a pervious mind-set that distorted the truth of God's love. God has no "pleasure in the death of the wicked" (Ezekiel 18:23). Majority of Educators are portraying the God of the Old Testament as: vindictive, racist, megalomaniacal, sado-masochistic being. The word of God warns: "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness of those who by their wickedness suppress the truth" (Romans 1:18). Support your church.

The prophet Zechariah's vision

The prophet Zechariah's vision, "Run, say to that young man: Jerusalem shall be inhabited like villages without walls... for I will be a wall of fire all around it, says the Lord, and I will be the glory within it" (Zechariah  2:4,5). "... the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all" (Galatians 4:26). The promise that was given to Jerusalem, the "wall of fire" and the "glory of God" signifies God's protective presence for His church; we are the church. Acts 2:38,39 "Then Peter said to them repent... for the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call." Be well and stay safe.

"I thought how I would..."

Jeremiah 3:19,20 "I thought how I would set you among My children... and I thought you would call me, My Father, and would not turn from following me. Instead, as a faithless wife leaves her husband, so you have been faithless to me, O house of Israel, says the Lord." Men, the metaphor "faithless wife" is meant to shame Manhood, not to degrade Womanhood. The narrative "... so you have been faithless to me..." points to the husband. As man, "We have renounced the shameful things that one hides; we refuse to practice cunning or to falsify God's word...we commend ourselves to the conscience of everyone in the sight of God" (2 Corinthians 4: 2). Jeremiah and Paul are talking to the church.
